The Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy (HCOP) and Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) held our final joint Medicare Outreach event of the season on November 5, 2025. We had two more successful AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach events on October 22, 2025 in Opelika and Semmes, AL. The Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy and Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) held a successful Medicare Open Enrollment event on October 25th, 2024 at the Lee-Russell Council of Governments (LRCOG) office in Opelika, AL. We had an unprecedented 12 PharmD student volunteers who were able to assist multiple Medicare patients in-person and over the phone in reviewing and selecting plans for 2025.
