Our AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach Event on October 25th at the Montgomery Cancer Center in Montgomery, AL was a success! We had 7 pharmacy students from the Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy volunteer, and they were able to assist 2 individuals from the local community in-person as well as 6 individuals by phone/mail who weren't physically able to make it to the event in selecting the best Medicare prescription drug plan for 2018. Thank you to Sandra Whatley for her wonderful assistance as the SHIP counselor at the event! Thank you, everyone!
