What We Do
Medicare Open Enrollment takes place from October 15th to December 7th and is the time when people can review their current Medicare plan, explore different plans, or sign up for a new plan. The Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University (AU) and the Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) have partnered to hold events in Auburn-Opelika, Mobile, and surrounding communities every year. The purpose of these events is for trained student pharmacists and certified SHIP counselors to assist people in selecting the best Medicare Part D (prescription drug plan) or Medicare Advantage plan (medical & prescription plans combined) for their needs.
