2024 AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach Kickoff Event

The 11th year of the partnership between the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy (AU HCOP) and the Alabama State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) started with our annual AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach Program Kickoff Event on September 5th, 2024! This was a wonderful event to introduce the program to our 2nd-year PharmD students, and we welcomed back our 3rd- and 4th-year students. Thank you so much to Dr. Glady's Heard for facilitating the event on the Mobile campus! Nick McCormick, PhD Candidate, did a great job presenting the program to approximately 30 PharmD students in Auburn and 8 in Mobile. Dawn Glascock and James Roberson from SHIP attended to speak to our students about the importance and impact of the program on Medicare patients in Alabama. We are so grateful for their continued partnership in this program!
