Two More Medicare Outreach Events on October 23, 2024

We had two more successful AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach events on October 23, 2024 in Opelika and Semmes, AL. Thank you to the Lee-Russell Council of Governments and the Semmes Senior Center for hosting us, and for Dawn Glascock and James Roberson from from the Alabama States Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). We were able to assist over 10 patients in selecting Medicare plans with 6 PharmD student volunteers from our Auburn campus and 4 from our Mobile campus. Thank you to Dr. Glady's Heard for coordinating student involvement on our Mobile campus!
