We had a great start to the Medicare Open Enrollment season this past Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 at the Boat People SOS in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Thank you to Dr. Glady's Heard and our student volunteers from the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy Mobile campus, who were able to assist 14 patients in reviewing their Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. A big thanks to James Roberson, State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) coordinator in the Mobile region, his team, and the interpreters at the BPSOS-Gulf who made this event a success!
