Our first AU-SHIP Medicare Outreach event of the 2017 season took place on October 16th at the Semmes Senior Community Center in Semmes, AL. Thank you to our 10 pharmacy student volunteers, our AU representative Tessa Hastings, and our SHIP counselor James Roberson for making this such a great event! Overall, our volunteers were able to assist 6 individuals with selecting the best Medicare prescription drug plan for 2018.
